Tellmystory Challenge Foundation was born from the worst day of our lives — and the belief that no one should carry that kind of pain alone. Founder McCann L. Utu Sr. built this movement on one truth: when we share our stories, healing follows. Whether it's spoken out loud, written down, sung, painted, filmed, or played out on the field, every gift is a way to tell it. Your story might be exactly what someone else needs to survive theirs.

“It cost me my family”: Hurricane man shares story 10 years after murder-suicide
Ten years after a murder-suicide left three members of his family dead, a Hurricane man is sharing his story to encourage conversations about mental health and break the stigma around it. He now leads the Tellmystory Challenge Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on mental health awareness.
